As Easter is fast approaching, I prepared a list of fun activities, easy to do, to enjoy with your whole family ! Until I find my way back to the Kids Club, I wish you a very happy Easter weekend, at home. See you soon !

Make your Easter basket !

Who says Easter Egg Hunt also says Easter basket to collect your eggs! Here is a step-by-step guide to create your own basket with a recycled milk bottle.

1. Equipment

1 bottle of milk

Plastic bottle, 50cl or more

Acrylic paint

Pink, red or blue

a Rope or a string

Black felt tip pen

For plastic use

Hole puncher

Pair of scissors

Scissors for cook

Wash and dry the milk bottle

Draw the ears and outline the shape, then cut the shape with scissors

Draw the eyes and the mouth with the pen

³⁄4

Paint ears, cheeks and the nose. You can choose the color of your choice, and draw the moustache if you wish

Bore 4 holes and insert the string. Then, your Easter basket is ready !

2. Easter Egg Hunt at Home

The idea is to give the 1st clue to start the hunt. The children follow the clues from egg to egg until they reach the last one where they will find their Easter surprise!

Here are some examples of clues:

1. Brrr...It’s really cold here (fridge , freezer…)
2. I am all clean now (shower, bath, dish washer…)
3. I am cooked (micro wave, oven…)
4. I am going for a ride (car, bike…)
5. I can hear a tune (radio, CD, alarm clock radio…)
6. I am reading a story (library…)
7. I am tired (bed)
8. I am taking shelter under a tree (tree, ornamental trees)
9. I have a letter (letter box)
10. I ‘m a little peckish (cupboard, fridge…)

To enhance the magic of the adventure, write these simple riddles on a sheet so that young children can follow the trail to discover the surprise!
