Villards Stud Farm

“If you come once, you’ll come back time and again”. This Provençal saying, inscribed at the entrance to Terre Blanche, is a perfect reflection of the experience and lives of many inhabitants of the Pays de Fayence. The Villards Stud Farm is the result of Christelle’s love for the beautiful region she was born in.

Originally from the village of Callian, this keen horse rider moved to Normandy for 10 years to learn everything she needed to know about her chosen career. She started off by working in a Normandy horse riding centre. Full of ideas and plans, she then set out by herself to build up her stable of Menorcan horses.

Around four years ago, Christelle acquired some agricultural land close to Terre Blanche, thus laying the foundations for her own riding centre. With her partner Salva, Christelle welcomes riders of all levels and offers a range of services. You can choose from lessons, hacks or treks.
.
Hacks for those aged 6 and over take riders up to the banks of St Cassien lake and Fondurane nature reserve. When they reach the water's edge, horses and riders can enjoy a refreshing break for a picnic. For the glorious days of summer, Christelle even provides Calabrian specialities for you to sample on horseback.

Christelle loves to share her passion with people of all ages who are looking for an activity where they can be at one with nature and discover the region in a whole new way.
