Cäsar W. Radetzky
Cäsar Radetzky, born in Nuremberg, Germany, studied arts in the late 1950s in Munich, Florence and Paris.
His major claim to fame is the fact that he was one of the last artists to study with Austrian Expressionist Oskar Kokoschka. It is to the tradition of this great artist and teacher that Radetzky decided to devote his work.
His large, painterly canvases promise an experience of pure painting. Radetzky’s style is abstract but images of faces and women can be seen if you look closely. Radetzky has been exhibiting mainly in Germany and Milan, Italy.
The stunning painting “The Guardians of Horses and Bulls.” (oil on canvas, 2006) is showcased in Domaine de Terre Blanche.
