The Domaine de Terre Blanche was conceived from the onset as an Eldorado for golfers. Seldom has a concept been turned into reality as meticulously and as individually as here, bathed in the glorious sunshine of Provence. No other than Dave Thomas – the designer of such famous courses as the Belfry – was chosen to breathe life into the idea of two wonderful championship courses.

The wild, unspoilt countryside on the fringe of the Côte d’Azur has been indelibly etched into the mind of the internationally acclaimed architect. Even today, the creator of so many remarkable courses all over the world is overwhelmed by the unique character of this particular assignment! And not without reason: with a masterly touch, he transformed the untamed, hilly landscape into two courses that are so different in character, and yet have such a similar effect on the players. Anyone playing here pauses before each shot to take in the beauty of the view.
